Matching the perfect candidate to the perfect role requires hard work and focus, two traits which are integral to our Cogs consultants. However, these traits are also needed to help you prepare and succeed in a marathon – and 2016 has shown that the team at Cogs really can go the distance.
Hot on the heels of Ken Lam and Justin Wong who ran marathons in Hong Kong and Singapore respectively. On Sunday 3rd April, Georgie jetted over to France to compete in her second marathon! The sun shone on Paris as Georgie made a valiant effort covering the 26.5 mile course in 4:58, despite a knee injury. So far she has raised almost £600 for Water Aid and to give her fundraising an extra boost she is competing in another half marathon next weekend.
The Virgin London Marathon was this weekend and the Cogs team hit the streets to cheer on James, our Tech consultant running in his first ever marathon. Months of hard training paid off and he completed it in a very impressive 3:46! Raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, James has already raised over £1,800 and is close to hitting his target.
