You will be overseeing your team on a day to day basis; managing and delegating effectively and efficiently but also getting stuck in and rolling up your sleeves where needed
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Manage relationships in pursuit of long-term geographic and commercial growth.
Establish and influence positively all key relationship parameters: financial, cultural, QC
Be the senior point of contact for the client on the overall direction of the partnership
Lead and develop the team internally: skills, capabilities, succession planning, performance and development levels
Oversee creative/strategic development work to ensure presented work is of the highest possible standards. Challenge briefs and outputs constantly, as the internal champion for client work
Ensure our philosophy is consistently top of mind in everything we do and deliver
Work with the Finance Director and CSD to monitor and improve commercial performance
Establish full scope of opportunity and interpret client brief to develop approach and ability to work within the overall client objectives
Support and contribute to Client Services objectives and initiatives, work with Client Services Director and other Client Directors to maintain a strong, collaborative and supportive Client Services community.
Role-specific skills required
Relevant client or agency experience. Client side marketing experience would be beneficial.
Solid on Pack and FMCG experience essential
Demonstrable track record in delivering large-scale, complex brand and communication activations and strategies for multi-market, multi brand, multi touchpoint clients
Demonstrable track record in multiple consumer marketing channels ranging from on pack, channel activation to digital activation (full 360 branding)
Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing client strategic growth plans
An excellent communicator and confident presenter who can articulate strategic thinking and creative concepts with equal impact.
Highly organised, highly professional, diplomatic and able to communicate at and adapt to all levels within client business and BU network.
Absorb and consolidate multiple briefs on multiple brands, and build plans for the future development of a cross-portfolio client relationship.
Solid commercial understanding and advanced negotiation skills.
