They are now looking for a Straegist. The Strategy functions at this agency involves data driven planning, experience design and digital brand strategy. The strategist there would sit in the last of these 3 practices. This team works with clients to set their digital brand vision and then collaborate with the wider agency to deliver campaigns, always on activities and innovation such that deliver against that vision. That could be anything from finding an innovative new way to connect with an audience through a social platform or setting up a new content publishing capability.
The strategist is a hands on role, working closely with clients and other internal teams to make great work. They could be digging insights from desk or qual research one day. Then developing campaign strategies and writing fertile creative briefs another.
They will report to a Strategy Director, but we give people a lot of autonomy within the agency and they look for people who are excited by this freedom.
Ideally they want someone who has spent a bit of their time at this level already.
Profile and mindset…
Might have spent time at digital/brand/ATL/integrated agencies. But really looking for a digital/brand hybrid. Someone who loves big creative ideas, but also thinks they’re at their most interesting and effective through interactive channels and experiences.
