For our client, a global expert agency for social media communications, we are currently looking for a

Director Paid Social (m/f), Frankfurt

The Director will be responsible for all paid social media communications of the agency’s clients on the German market. The role entails leading and developing a team of social media specialists. The individual responsible will also act as the point of contact for paid social media and will manage and further grow key strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Paid Social Strategists and Campaign Managers
  • Identify opportunities and ensure business growth, working closely with the management team
  • Ensure knowledge and experience sharing between the headquarter and hubs globally to strengthen the relationships and ensure best practices uses
  • Plan, develop and execute innovative paid social media plans and campaigns for key clients
  • Striving to learn and become an industry thought-leader

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of professional experience in digital media planning with social media focus plus minimum 2 years of leadership experience
  • Expertise in media planning and development of creative and innovative social media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and its channels
  • Excellent presentation and consultancy skills
  • A proven track record in business development and pitches
  • People leadership skills: experience leading and developing
  • Deep technical knowledge of paid social media, vendors, tracking systems and KPIs
  • Fluent in German and English
