My client are a global brand consultancy and they are currently looking for an Influencer Director to join their growing team.

The influencer director is responsible for focusing on the client servicing, influencer relationship management, the delivery, insights, new business and team growth both locally and globally of this agency service. This person will deliver the growth and business development of influencer marketing, bringing together the cultural approach the business is internationally known for, with a rigour to the process of influencer work.

In addition to this leadership role, we will be looking for the candidate to develop their understanding of wider business services such as their creative brand consultancy. In time, they hope this person will be able to deploy creative concepts in various brand contexts (experiential social, influencer) for a wide range of categories and programs.

Required attributes for the role include having the ability to think beyond a single project is important, as the influencer director must always have a keen understanding of multiple clients and categories. An inquisitive mind is a necessity, as are project delivery skills and attention to detail. You are strategic, polished, value-oriented, and committed to delivering great results for our clients. You understand the importance of building fantastic relationships and are dedicated to ensuring that the agency leads the market in cultural awareness, analysis and insight with influencer marketing.

? Consultatively lead clients (new and old) with their understanding of influencer marketing, challenging them as necessary and providing alternate points of view when needed.

? Collaborate with the strategy and accounts team to create accurate, simple and clear reverse briefs based on a client’s information.

? Collaborate with the strategy and accounts team to create simple, clear and well-written proposals that emphasize strategic thinking with a focus on brand, audience and cultural insights.

? Ensure that the response to brief is executed on time and within allocated head hours.

? Ensure communication with the key stakeholders is maintained through all aspects of the project from brief to completion.

? Present ideas, strategy and creative concepts confidently and with authority both internally and to clients.

? Lead and own specific new business pitches, pulling the best resources within the business together as a virtual team.

? Confidently present ideas to the client showcasing their influencer model.

? Identify new business opportunities feeding ideas back to MD.

? Be informed and curious around global trends in culture/insight/people specifically in the markets in which they operate – sharing the insights globally.

? Identify new business opportunities feeding ideas back to MD.

? Attend weekly internal agency WIP meetings with updates to MD on progress

? Be the focal point of contact for both client and internal team for all influencer projects

? Set up and processes for the ongoing management and delivery of work

? Take on ad hoc projects within the business as required

? Understand and manage all agency workflow, receipt bank, WFM & systems and support your team members

? Maintain weekly updates of sales pipeline in line with expected project budgets and forecasted revenue

? Prepare post analysis report and present to client including learning’s.

? Prepare work in progress meetings and take minutes for all clients and all projects.

? Be a lead collaborator, drawing inspiration from different teams and generating creative concepts and ideas which connects to the overarching strategy and drives brand relevance.

? Prepare documents to communicate creative ideas to clients including proposals, presentations and reports.

? Actively refine the creative process and idea generation; structure and catalyze brainstorming and development among the team.

? Respond to client feedback and steward the creative integrity of projects from development through to pre-production.

? And then the Global insight side of things- they need someone to help them further solidify their client relationships and enhance their value by producing relevant, engaging culture-­based insight/research around the culture and development of influencer marketing.

? Generate understanding both locally and globally of changes and developments in performing contemporary influencer marketing.

? Create a dashboard process for delivery of best in class reporting across brands and markets

? Regularly contribute to and evolve the projects* marketing efforts with thought pieces, insights tools and live workshops that builds on our awareness with current clients and prospects.

You’ll be able to:

? Manage and deliver both retained and project-based influencer campaigns

? Create simple, clear and well-written proposals that dials up the business value of influencer marketing

? Be a strategic thinker and an influential collaborator yourself globally

? Develop, communicate with and retain great relationships with other team members and clients both locally and globally to understand where the best opportunities for client development lie.

? Develop, communicate with and retain great relationships with MD’s in all local markets

? Familiarity with experimental approaches in marketing and brand communications; a passion to innovate in the field of influencer marketing and take clients on this journey with them

? An understanding of visual communication and design process; ability to translate ideas into presentations

? Excellent long and short form writing skills

? Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; precise, tactful, and articulate

? Excellent time management skills, demonstrated ability to organize, set and implement priorities while balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
