They are now a team of 70 and due to great growth, there is an opening for a junior-MW Backend Developer in their product team.
In this role you’ll be working on their Cards and Loans platform as well as with lender integrations. As part of the wider technology department you can expect to work alongside a passionate and curious team, autonomy to prioritise your work as you see fit, exposure to a wide range of tech and a culture of continuous personal development (backed with a generous training budget).
The ideal candidate will be experienced in .NET Code and want to work using the principles of continuous integration and automated testing, domain modelling and ubiquitous language, functional programming, containerisation and experimentation, continuous improvement and learning from failure. You’ll be aware of the 12-Factor App and want to build Cloud Native systems.
Their wider tech stack is made up of .NET (mixture of C# and F#), NodeJS, Elm, Visual Studio Code, Nunit, Fluent Assertions, SpecFlow, Expecto, FsCheck, Canopy, CircleCI and AWS. You’re not expected to have a deep knowledge of their entire stack but you must be curious, solution-focused, interested in learning more about functional programming, committed to continual improvement and want to take ownership of your code.
