For our client, one of the fastest growing marketing communication agencies worldwide with European headquarters in Frankfurt and specializing in automotive, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager preferably with creative agency experience. The 100 person team boasts members from 16 various nations.

Overview

the Senior HR Manager serves as operations manager for Human Resources; oversees day-to-day HR operations; serves as analyst/advisor to the Director of Human Resources; coordinates special projects, planning, project development and problem solving; liaison between HR and key internal and external constituencies; provides leadership and supervision of HR operations/staff

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively advice and counsel managers and employees on HR related matters
  • Alongside HR Director, professionally lead Junior HR staff
  • Manage legal issues (work instructions, written warnings, terminations etc.)
  • Set-up, review and optimize policies, procedures and processes
  • Stay abreast of trends within the HR environment
  • Initiate and develop training & development activities
  • Recruitment of new talent, including salary negotiations and legal matters
  • Coordinate working visas, relocation support, posting job ads, managing external partners, i.e. headhunters
  • Develop and implement efficient and responsive recruitment tools
  • Mentor and coach personnel
  • Evaluate and make decisions for measures like promotions, salary increases, written warnings, terminations, transfers
  • Prepare monthly payroll, reporting
  • Participation in HR projects (i.e. salary structures, function levels, core value trainings)
  • Support the implementation of an HR ERP System
  • Monitoring the annual Performance Management Process, setting KPIs and handling evaluations

Personal Specifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience as HR Manager or in a similar role within an international environment
  • Good command of the whole spectrum of the instruments of modern personnel work
  • Distinctive communication skills and a special grasp of different cultures
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and employee relations and communication
  • Sound knowledge of the German Social Security and Fiscal law
  • Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction
  • Conceptual and integral thinker
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
  • Fluent in German and English
