We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Analytics & Data Consultant
The ideal candidate will be an expert within the team on technical aspects of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and broader web/mobile tracking and tagging technologies. You will help audit, maintain and improve existing analytics installations as well as helping specify and implement new or upgraded ones.
In conjunction with the rest of the team (especially the Analytics & BI Consultant) you will need to take client business objectives and problems, and translate them into well-configured, smooth-running analytics installations.
This is primarily a hands-on technical role but you will be required to liaise with various client contacts – technical, marketing and marketing management.
” Conducting health checks and audits of Google and Adobe analytics products on client sites
” Diagnosis of wider tagging and tracking problems on client websites preventing accurate media and/or sales reporting
” Implementation and configuration of Google Analytics as a paid service
” Provision of consulting to clients around better, more advanced implementations of GA to support their business goals
” Design and specification of more advanced implementations of GA to support analytics frameworks
” Diagnosis of analytics reporting errors on client sites
” Liaising with client technical teams to provide detailed technical guidance on fixes and implementations
” Senior advisory and mentoring role within the newly created data & analytics team
” A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Sciences or numerically proficient subject – highly desirable but not essential as long as you have demonstrable equivalent skills
” Ideally 5+ years’ experience in data-focused roles within agency (or client side of a client/agency relationship)
” Proven experience in planning and executing Google Analytics installations
” Strategic thinker with strong understanding of the relationships between digital media, adtech, analytics and data
” Good understanding of current trends and requirements in analytics such as cross-channel attribution, CDIM, single customer view, and DMP integration.
” Excellent communication skills internally and client-facing

” Google Analytics to a high standard (GAiQ)
” Google Tag Manager
” Excel to a good level of proficiency

” Adobe analytics
” Tealium tag management
” Other products in Adobe marketing cloud (esp. Test & Target)
” Optmizely or other CRO tools
” Tableau or other data visualisation tools
” Other Google data products – Optimize, BigQuery, Data Studio
