Berlin, 22-26 September: For five full days the who is who of Germany’s social media scene met up in Berlin to talk, to work, to exchange knowledge, issues and contacts.

Big brands like Microsoft or Yahoo met up with Start Ups like Pay with a Tweet or Little Web Giants and of course with Cogs Agency. So what did we learn there?

Content? Yes but only if it’s relevant!

We learned how many people you need until the perfect post appears on your client’s Facebook account. We saw the death and resurrection of the target group. We experienced amazingly effective online communication provided for NGOs with the smallest budgets.

But most of all we saw some great examples of succesfull content marketing. In a world where we are spammed with thousands of messages, claims and slogans everyday we need stories that matter to people. The upcoming generation is willing to accept content brought to them by a brand – but only if it’s relevant. Creators of such relevant brand narratives will be the future winners in the battle of WWW attention.
