Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Mooncake Festival will be celebrated on the 24th September 2018. This festival celebrates the end of the autumn harvest.
Its significance is tied to hard work and overall crop yields. While most societies are no longer agriculture-based, the festival’s tradition still carries on with family, friends and communities.
In Chinese history, many literary figures celebrate the full-moon by dedicating poetry around the themes of the beauty of the night sky and “togetherness”.
Being a digital recruiting agency, it’s only apt if Cogs celebrate Mid-Autumn with an animated video!
