Digital industry

At Cogs, we want to do more than just help talented individuals find leading digital jobs, we actually want to make you feel empowered.

Digital is an amazing industry to be in, but it’s tough, its competitive and it’s not quite as diverse as we would like.  ‘The Cogs CrunchBreaking the digital mould’ is a networking event that gives you the chance to listen to some leading speakers sharing their digital journeys and discussing the topics that you want to hear about. You can be as involved as you wish, ask questions and network, or just pop in to listen and have some breakfast.

Taking inspiration from our Cogs Singapore team, who run a Ladies Breakfast event for women in tech, we wanted to offer our digital talents across London the chance to break the digital mould, wave goodbye to stereotypes and restrictions and help each other to get further in digital.

For our first event on Tuesday June 14th, we are thrilled to have guest speaker Jane Austin Head of UX at The Telegraph joining us, to discuss “What I wish I knew before I got promoted” and the transition from ‘doing to leading’ within a digital team.  So if you’re pondering your own career progression in the digital industry or you’re open to sharing the journey that you’ve been on, this one’s for you.

The event is being held at the Canvas Café  42 Hanbury St, London, E1 5JL, 8:30-10am.

Enjoy coffee and croissants and a quick welcome chat, then hear from the fantastic Jane Austin and finish with a short Q&A and the opportunity to network.

Spaces are limited so please RSVP Charlotte.Crook@Cogsagency.com by Tuesday 7th June.
