As you may remember last year we featured some work from Signal Noise – our good friends and neighbours . Well they’ve been at it again and have recently launched a new version of the very successful Transfer Window website.
London-based information design agency Signal Noise has launched a new version of last season’s successful Transfer Window website with updated features for the 2013/2014 season. Following the success of the initial launch – which received over 20,000 hits in the first week online – the team have raised the bar, creating a richer user experience across desktop and tablet devices which visualises the transfers and gives users more in-depth analysis.
Every day, the site pulls in data about the 10 main European leagues and clubs within them, visualises all player transfers and lifts the lid on which teams are actually getting value for money.
The huge sums of money that accompany modern transfers is always an area of hot debate. With a dynamic interface for tracking a club’s league position over the season and the amount they spent on new players, the site reveals which teams are getting the most ‘Bang for their Buck’ and which ones have wasted their money.
“This site combines our passion for visualising data with our constant drive to tell an interesting story. We think it’s a whole new way to experience and engage with football statistics.” – Hem Patel, Founding Partner, Signal Noise
In the excitement of the final days of transfers, see up-to-date transfer information, how much your favourite club has spent, and whether it will pay off as the season unfolds.
Signal Noise is one of London’s leading independent information design agencies. Their user-centered approach, combined with a constant desire for innovation, enables them to help global clients understand and communicate complex data through content, tools and installations.
