They are currently looking for a talented Account Director to join the team. You will be a relationship builder and thought leader who achieves growth on existing accounts and ensures exceptional work. It goes without saying that as an Account Director you’ve got bags of agency experience and you’ll have been instrumental in projects and work that involves initial research, establishing criteria, idea generation and approaches, through to negotiation, securing final agreements and being accountable for delivering the brief.
You’ll need to be happy sitting with clients and developing strategy as well as being
hands on and delivering projects too.
What you’ll do:
? Work with the specialists on the creation of the roadmaps that will achieve client
goals, delivering digital experiences that increase engagement whilst meeting
hard commercial objectives.
? Oversee integrated teams and be responsible for reviewing team deliverables,
while providing strategic oversight and ultimately ensuring the work gets noticed,
used and appreciated.
? Drive profitability at scale and sells in new offerings.
? Ability to understand, interpret and communicate client briefs
? Ownership of the work end-to-end, from briefing, strategy, creative, execution
and evaluation – to agreed brief, scope, timings and budget
? Be the expert on the client’s product and guidelines whilst gaining an
understanding of their industry/market
? Lead your client team to deliver the work collaboratively
? Be the client’s trusted partner
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
? +8 years of experience, ideally have prior experience as a client lead in a digital agency or eCommerce client side, with a minimum of 2 years of data or behaviour insights lead creativity.
? Proven ability to manage and grow global clients in eCommerce, branding and
? Experience and proven approach to building relationships that result in new,
profitable revenue opportunities as well as driving incremental growth on existing
? High knowledge and expertise in ecommerce and a personal perspective on
Internet trends and technologies, business and site performance analysis, and
user centered design process.
? Proven ability to negotiate SOWs and contracts – effectively forecasting and
scoping work with teams in close collaboration with Project Management.
? eCommerce, brand and/or shopper experience is a must.
? You’ll be a self-motivated, driven person able to be a team player, but also act
independently to get things done.
