We are recruiting for a remarkable Account Manager to work on the agency’s flagship account – George (Asda).
Biglight are George’s lead digital agency responsible for campaign concept origination, photography, copy, web UX, web page design, website updates and eNewsletter production.
The successful candidate will be working on a fast moving, highly creative account that nevertheless demands a level of professionalism that is to be expected from one of the world’s largest retailers.
The role is a hybrid of traditional account management in the sense of client handling and relationship building coupled to project management in terms of end-to-end delivery to the client’s delight on time and on budget.

Run your projects
” Delivering work end-to-end from briefing, creative, execution and evaluation – to agreed brief, scope, timings and budget
” Responsible for managing and adhering to the agency’s process
” Responsible for the effective and organised management of client feedback to the agency and any push backs from agency to client
” Responsible for obtaining both internal and external stakeholder approvals
” Responsible for following up all client contact and contact report actions promptly
” Ensuring your line-manager is informed of potential issues with suggested solutions before they escalate
Ownership of the day to day
” Be the expert on the client’s product and guidelines
” Develop an appreciation of the client’s business – their market, competitors and challenges thus providing strong representation of the client at the agency
” Be the junior to mid-weight client’s trusted partner
” Be completely buttoned down on the admin and systems of the account including responsibility for weekly status meetings and time utilisation reporting
” An enthusiastic, optimistic and proactive attitude with the desire to make things happen, deliver a great service and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
” Although the team requirements and objectives are very clear, this role needs to be flexible and versatile, to adapt to the type of projects and workload that may arise as the business requirements evolve
” Excellent time management skills and an ability to drive a project forward to ensure it meets its deadlines
” A passion for fashion, a curiosity for business and empathy of client challenges
” Exceptional at multitasking with peerless attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Desired skills and experience
” 3+ years previous account management experience in a creative agency environment
” Experience of retail or fashion clients is highly desirable
” Excellent oral and written communication skills
