This role is working for one of the world’s leading online luxury fashion retailers.

Their experience team is growing therefore they are now looking for a Lead Content Strategist/UX Writer who can help them establish their practice for UX Writing and Content Strategy alongside their product designers (UI/UX/Motion) and researchers.

Your mission is help them establish a foundation for content strategies and development, bring more cohesion to their brand voice across channels, while working closely with their Editorial and Brand/Marketing to ensure everything they create evokes high-end, luxury fashion.

You Will:

” Partner with product managers, internal business stakeholders and functional teams to define content requirements and strategy that best achieve business goals.

” Provide leadership on UX project team efforts to ensure content and design meet business objectives and user needs.

” Bring together content from marketing, editorial and product and edit digital content in a way that feels cohesive and meets project goals and end user needs for complex efforts

” Develop clear, consistent nomenclature for tools and applications; collaborate on the creation of new systems to tag and organize new and existing content and site navigation.

” Partner with the Experience team to define user models and interfaces for new/updated features and functionality.

” Work with other departments as needed to ensure the content strategy is effectively implemented across channels.

” Ensure online content complies with corporate brand standards, web style guide, legal and compliance.

” Collaborate on the development of content style guides, content and messaging strategies, best practices and processes.

” Partner with other writers within the organization to leverage and share ideas and make recommendations that apply broadly across multiple channels.

” Review analytics on an ongoing basis to understand user behaviour to manage and shape content and messaging strategies.

” Evaluates the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.

You Have:

” The ability to work as a systems thinker to analyse and optimize process and content creation workflows.

” Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to positively influence change management in a fast-moving organization.

” Believe that your craft is critical to their success: you can identify and execute on content improvement initiatives.

” You enjoy high-level strategy and hands-on writing and editing work for content standards and UX copy for web and mobile experiences.

” You see brand as the whole experience. You understand that brand is about the customer’s perception and experience over time – that it’s the convergence of brand/product and service.

” You understand fashion inside and out- and know what appeals to luxury markets. It’s important to have empathy for the content.

” BA or MA in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or equivalent experience.

” Extensive experience creating online/digital content.

” Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

” Experience in creating and executing on a content strategy within the interactive space.

” Must have a diverse portfolio of work to demonstrate authored and edited web content.

” Experience working on a large-scale website or network of sites and creating/editing content for multiple channels.

” A proven track record collaborating on projects to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand interactive experiences.

” Extensive experience planning for and developing useful, usable content including instructional text, error and confirmation messages, taxonomy and nomenclature.

” Passion for creating great user experiences with actionable knowledge of the digital landscape including current industry and user trends, emerging technologies, and standards.

” Understanding of interaction design and information architecture with regards to content strategy.

” Ability to scope, organize and execute multiple projects with interrelated goals.

” Develop content frameworks, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help people understand the practice of content strategy

” Approach all of work with a luxury fashion mindset, advocate for designs and language that internationalize well, and work with our translations team to improve quality.
