Technical Trainer

I’m on the lookout for a Technical Trainer to support the implementation and rollout of the agency’s bespoke applications – workflow digital asset management, through training users in the functionality and features of the applications and how this relates to both client and the agencies process and workflows.

You will have the opportunity to design and develop a range of training materials including:

  •                 Static – PDF guides
  •                 Interactive – 'clickable' PDF guides
  •                 Visual – Video Tutorials
  •                 Software simulations – Adobe Captivate
  •                 LMS/eLearning tutorials

 

  • Deliver training to all levels of staff, including agency partners, clients and internal teams
  • Deliver demos to clients to highlight the features and capabilities of our various technology offerings
  • Deliver training face-to-face and online, via tools such as WebEx
  • Evaluation of training and feedback received to improve future sessions
  • To work autonomously on their own training programs, or collaboratively as a member of the training team on technology implementation projects
  • Point of contact for Agency/Client stakeholders and internal departments for general training requests
  • Assist in implementation of new applications by developing new training materials
  • Providing training status updates
  • Work with the training team to maintain an up to date training calendar
  • Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of not only the Hogarth applications but of our full-service offerings as often you will be asked questions by users outside of application functionality
  • Understand how client, agency, and relationships interact as often you will be asked questions by users outside of application functionality
  • Experience of working in a technology based TV, print, or digital production related training role is desirable
  • IT Systems understanding to train users on a variety of systems that may change as the business grows or new clients are on-boarded
  • History of being able to manage multiple training projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable working within an ever-changing environment in a rapidly growing company
  • Strong client facing aptitude for managing client (both internal and external) requirements and expectations
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve based on sound knowledge
  • Capability of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Confident presentation skills

Key requirements for this role are:

  •   Project management experience
  •   As these guys are an international company with offices and clients around the globe, the ability to travel internationally in order to carry out your training responsibilities is a key requirement of the role
  •   Language skills would be an advantage
  •   Experience with LMS/ eLearning tools
  •   Previous experience with advertising production industry tools such as workflow automation and DAM would be beneficial
  •   Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
  •   Training qualifications/accreditation to a professional body e.g. CIPD, TAP, IIT would be ideal
