Three years ago we were invited to sponsor a small event for the Hong Kong Web Developers community.
Since then the community has doubled in size and we’ve been fortunate enough to sponsor a long list of events where some of HK’s finest technologists and orators discussed topics ranging from ‘Understanding Microservices’ to ‘Dev Ops in practice’.
However, we wanted to do more so we approached the original organisers and asked them if we could step up to organise future events. To our delight, they said ‘yes’!
Well, the time has arrived and we now have a very exciting, wholly Cogs organised, meet-up event planned for Thursday 2nd November. Our speaker for the night will be Marc Lamothe who heads up the technology practice at www.fitch.com in Hong Kong. Marc will be discussing the augmentation of customer experience within the retail space.
It’s a free event but seats are limited so confirm your attendance now to avoid disappointment. For more details about the event, you can head to:

and here.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. We have a roster of high-profile digital folks reared up and ready to part knowledge and wisdom with HKWD. To ensure we cater for the diverse range of professional backgrounds and interests within the community we’ll be touching on broader technology and digital subject matter.
Stay tuned for future events!
Special thanks to www.thegaragesociety.com for providing the venue in the evening.
Super special thanks to Neil Nand, Nash Trajkovski, Rhys Turner, Vlad Popov, Dennis Tsui and all the community members that play a pivotal role in building and keeping the community alive. More importantly for inviting us to be part of it.
