We are thrilled to announce our Cogs Conversations are back in 2022! Kicking off the series we have the incredible Bridget Greenwood joining us to speak about emerging technologies and diversity in this growing industry.
When Bridget first came into the bit-coin and block-chain industry in 2017 there was a noticeable lack of women in the space.Β Thankfully for Bridget, the pioneering women who were working in the industry were more than happy to support the next generation of women coming through the ranks.Β Bridget wanted to nurture this evolution of equality in this space and thus, The Bigger Pie was born.
The Bigger Pie is a global community of professionals that aims to support diversity and inclusions in block-chain and emerging technologies. Bridget works tirelessly to achieve better gender equality in the tech space and is constantly looking at activities and initiatives to do this.
Our Cogs Conversation with Bridget will include discussions on
- What is blockchain and why is this technology so important?
- How can businesses adopt good practice in a diverse workforce?
- Why are there so few women working in emerging technologies
