As the stunning UK summer neared its end, the Cogs London team took the time off to reflect and celebrate their year of recruitment success.

Following a smashing Q3, the team were treated to an afternoon off for some out of office fun.

First stop of the day was Breakin’ Escape rooms. The principle of the game is simple, you are locked in a room with your team and your goal is to manage to escape within 60 minutes.  We split into 4 teams and each had a different room and scenario to escape from; Butcher’s Lair, Sherlock’s Despair, Flying Dutchman and War on Horizon Alpha.

Teams needed to use their mind and collective intelligence to make sense of clues hidden around the room in a variety of different interactive and engaging ways in order to escape. The 60-minute time limit flies by, but all teams managed to escape in the allocated time (some cut it finer than others!)

Mentally exhausted but exhilarated the teams headed to a private dining terrace in a gastro pub for a 3-course meal and drinks while we chatted through our escape room escapades. After dinner we then had an area in a cocktail bar, sampling a variety of drinks and catching up with everyone in the team.

It was a really successful summer party, the perfect mix of activity and celebration – perfect for team bonding, especially to welcome our new team members.
