Cogs boosts digital talent offering in East Asia with Damien Bell’s promotion to Managing Director and a new Associate Director in Hong Kong, Carrie Ho

Cogs have promoted Damien Bell as the Managing Director for Greater China to further grow Cogs China’s client base and expand the company’s research hub in Shenzhen to a fully-focused recruitment team with sales and account management services. Bell was previously Director of Greater China as well as/and Hong Kong, having started Cogs’s first Asian office in 2012. His immediate responsibilities are to strengthen the company’s position in the market by building a team that is capable of understanding and meeting the recruitment needs of companies.

Commenting on his new role, Damien said, “It’s been an exciting journey building Cogs Hong Kong. We set up our Shenzhen office focussed on research last year as part of our first steps into China. In the past year, we’ve witnessed an increasing amount of Chinese companies establishing teams and business outside the country as well as a growing priority in digital transformation. On top of the warm reception and increasing requests from Chinese businesses, expanding the services there are only the natural next steps for us. Cogs is a global network of offices supports the global ambitions of our Chinese clients and our growing business in China supports their domestic hiring plans.”

In Cogs Hong Kong, Carrie Ho joins the team as Associate Director to focus and grow Cogs Hong Kong’s consulting team and margins. Ho, was previously Associate Director at Page Personnel where she worked her way up as a junior. During her 5-year journey with them, she has proven her mettle as a team leader with commercial acumen and received 3 promotions and eventually rose to her last role.

Amongst her many achievements there, she helped the business set up 2 new disciplines Page Personnel Digital and Page Personnel Customer Service in 2016 and 2017. Cogs Hong Kong warmly welcomes such a driven and resilient addition to the growing family.
