The “Black Cab Interview Series” by Creativepool’s founder Michael Tomes takes industry heavyweights on a cab ride in London, New York and Singapore to chat about their careers, work and thoughts about the industry.
Cogs have supported the Singapore interviews for the past couple of years and were thrilled to see our very own Founder and Director of Asia Chris Frost hit the hot seat for an interview recently, which you can view here. We continue to sponsor the series and are thrilled with the calibre of guests this season
Singapore is home to Spikes Asia, the region’s oldest and most prestigious festival of creativity. Spikes has grown in recent years into a three-day celebration of inspiration and creative achievement and a platform from which major and upcoming player alike can network and exchange ideas. For this year’s Black Cab Interview Series, Creativepool invited some of the festival’s top speakers into the cab for a chat, asking some biting questions while he takes his esteemed guests on a whirlwind tour of the glorious city of Singapore.
Grant, Regional Executive Creative Director at iris Worldwide, was one of them. Grant talks about the ‘slash generation’ with iris sport, how marketing communications don’t always keep up with the rapid changes in the sports industry and what he hates about the creative industry.
