Creative Equals have been working with Young Creative Council and have conducted a survey of what young female creatives feel about the industry.
Now, it’s not exactly breaking news that there is a lack of of women in this industry especially at the top. However when the statistic “50% of advertising students are girls yet a significant number drop out or change roles by the time they get into the industry.” was brought to us, it got personal.
Our aim as the YCC is to bridge that gap between university and the industry, no matter your background or gender. So we’ve teamed up with Creative Equals to delve deeper and try and uncover why girls are giving up on advertising careers so early on.
So as promised by us last week, we have a survey ready for you to take. Now, it’s not all doom and gloom, because the more we know the more we can do. So boys and girls alike please take part so we can find out what’s what.
