What Does London’s Tech Scene Have to Offer European Techies?

London is a buzzing city of culture, business and technology, boasting a diverse ecosystem and a world of opportunity….

London's Tech Scene

In 2015, London was chosen as the best city to launch a start-up and tech capital, while Berlin and other European cities are giving London some very good competition in 2016.

Despite the shocking Brexit news – London is still a buzzing city of culture, business and technology, boasting the most diverse ecosystem in Europe with 53% of foreign employees across the city.

London’s tech “hotspot” is not restricted to one area of the capital – the tech community covers a vast expanse from Clerkenwell, to Canary Wharf not to mention Shoreditch and Whitechapel. No matter what sort of business you thrive in there is something to suit all workers from boutiques and start-ups to in house at big brands, digital agencies as well as freelance opportunities across many different tech environments.

The Cogs tech team are going through a real busy patch with some amazing developer roles across the city.  However they are packing the bags of one of their Technical consultants, who is heading over to the Berlin office for a few days to speak to any European talent who may be considering the move to London. James Donovan will be based at Cogs Berlin on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th August – and will be able to offer some advice on support on the London market and share some of the most sought after opportunities that would be ideal for European workers.

Cogs London are currently working with a host of great clients, from start-ups through to massive fashion / sport brands and worldwide agencies (we also work with Google). As with industry trends they are looking for Developers with a real passion to work new and latest Tech as well as Data-Visualisation.

So why not explore some of our live roles, contact James or pop in to the new Cogs Berlin office  – Oberwallstr. 9, 10117 Berlin, (+49 (030) 467 267 00) to have a chat about the global opportunities.
