Join other Hong Kong web developers for an evening on React

Join our COGS Hong Kong office and our partner for this session, SEEK Asia as we bring you an introduction to React.JS & React Native on the 28 of June 2018 from 7PM-9PM.

This session will focus on React, a JavaScript library that allows for customisable components when building user interfaces. Created by a Facebook engineer in 2013, it’s now used by thousands of apps like Instagram, Uber, Baidu, Skype, and Pinterest, just to name a few.

It will be an evening of learning as George Ho (Head of Engineering, SEEK Asia) and his two React specialists, Samantha and Henry will introduce to you React.JS and React Native explain how JobStreet and jobsDB have harnessed its’ capability to build their mobile app ecosystem. There will be a Q&A after the presentation so come prepared with questions!

About our Presenters:
George is the Head of Engineering is responsible for the development of applications across SEEK Asia’s digital platforms. He has 10+ years of experience in a diverse set of Internet technology domains, from back-end to front-end app development.

Henry is a programmer in the mobile team of jobsDB. He has two years of experience in React Native and is mainly focused on the latest jobsDB lite app.

Samantha has been a developer at jobsDB since 2015 and is experienced in C#, PHP, and React.js. Currently in the search & experience team for revamping the job search page in jobsDB.SEEK is the global leader in the creation and operation of online employment markets.
