Our client is an international luxury beauty brand, which is popular in global market, and it is fast growing in China and Asia.

This role will require to lead and develop different business strategies for the high-growth E-Commerce and offline retail channel to drive the sales, and to maximize the commercial opportunities ensure a sustainable and profitable business.


  • Define strategy and drive the sales through the retail team to ensure goals are met.
  • Develop and execute the overall Retail Excellence strategy in line with company guideline in Retail Operation for client engagement
  • Delivering a world class Retail and Partner Store model and business that operates in highest performance metrics
  • Drive sales initiatives and provide partners and consumers with the highest levels of service.
  • Create and inspire the commercial team across the functions


  • Develop vision, growth plan, and strategic priorities to drive best-in-class ecommerce
  • Stay abreast of the eComm trends and performances in China, define and drive China digital and ecom strategy with limitless ideas and aim no.1 digital beauty brand in China.
  • Develop ecommerce marketing investment strategy by working closely with marketing operations team on the alignment for plan, budget & implementation of digital and offline business.
  • Build strategic partnerships with E-commerce retailers’ and other digital platforms.
  • Plan and execute E-Commerce strategy, e.g. Commercial, Marketing, pricing strategy, joint business partner plans etc.
  • Create and manage annual expense budget and sales forecast for ecommerce channel as aligned with the Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term campaigns to increase E-Commerce traffic, conversion, average order value, profitability and reduce shopping cart abandonment.
  • Optimize E-Commerce channel website design and layout to promote a premium customer experience.
  • Define the launch strategy and cadence for ecom platform such as Tmall, wechat, JD and others.
  • Partner with Global Digital and Marketing teams on third party platforms to ensure all promotional opportunities and events are fully supported / executed.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • 10 years experience with China’s luxury retail and ecommerce/ digital platforms.
  • A business leader with strong commercial and financial amen
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and is confident in managing relationships at all levels.
  • Operational efficient, strategically credible.
  • Adaptive: Able to adapt plans, strategies and processes in ways suited to the needs of the business while promoting consistency.
  • Executive presence: A seasoned business professional who is comfortable talking to, and influencing, senior decision makers.
